Closing Costs
Learning that closing costs exist can be…. disheartening. We provide estimates based on location and property type, but these costs can vary significantly. A seller's agent can provide an exact breakdown, and your mortgage lender will require these costs to be accounted for during the approval and closing process. It's worth noting that some of these costs can be negotiated depending on the market environment.
For clarity, we have escrow as a separate line item in our upfront cost estimates (which may or may not include mortgage insurance). However, your lender will likely include these within the Closing Disclosure Explainer. It is important to verify closing costs as they may less or more our estimates.
